How did you first discover deviantART?

I never knew about the internet until I was about 7 or 8 years old, where I would just play games on there once in a while. When I was about 11, I browsed around the internet a little more often, and ended up reading fanfiction of some movies and TV shows

. I looked at some of the profiles of authors, and some linked their dA accounts. I browsed around that deviantART for a short time and dismissed it as nothing.
Shortly after turning 13, my English teacher made my class participate in the National Novel Writing Month where I typed my fingers off over 21,000 words and became an active member in the forums. Well, I am an Australian deviant who's been around the site for a few years now, but this is my first active account, you know posting art and spreading rainbows and such, before I was just an art appreciator really

Yo! <3 My name is Kristen, but most people know me as Bliss. I'm eighteen years old and live in the U.S.A.
What gave you the idea to register with your username?
BlissfullySarcastic was a pen name of mine, and this account was originally for lurking and writing, so I figured I'd use the same name. Oxymorons...fun stuff.
How has deviantART changed your life?
I've never really thought about it. Huh.
It glued me to my computer, if that counts as changing my life. It taught me how to trollolololo

With both the wedding of our founder and Valentine's Day coming up in a month, #Feature-Me-Weekly has decided to host a contest with the theme...

Love is in the Air!

Entries may be posted here!

Contest Rules

- All art mediums are welcome. This includes literature!

- Entries must have a theme of love; weddings, a kiss (running out of ideas here but I'm sure you have more

) or
- depict love in some way (preferably in a positive way!)
- All entries must be created for this contest! Entries with a submission date of before the 17th will not be allowed.
- Only one entry per person!
- Anything with mature content must be censored appropriate (but please not with a "strict" tag

)
- In your artist's comments, please state that the deviation is for our group's contest!
- Make sure your entry goes into the contest folder!
- Participants must be a member of FMW!

Deadline

The deadline will be Friday, February 18, 2011, at 7 pm AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time)!
